January saw a steady stream of real estate transactions as Covid raged throughout Israel (yes, the Buyitinisrael staff had it too!), record rain, snow, and low temperatures were recorded, and earthquakes off Cyprus were felt in Israel. The borders have reopened and foreign buyers are back, buying up homes at a rate that hasn’t been seen since the early 2000’s.
The following is a selection of real estate deals that took place in January 2022 that involved English-speaking real estate agents in Israel. The idea is to give our readers a general idea of the residential real estate market, property prices, and activities taking place around the country that relate to Israel real estate*.
Jerusalem:
A 3-room apartment, 119 sqm, second floor out of two floors, located on Aminadav, Abu Tur, was sold for NIS 3,230,000. A 2-room apartment, 30 sqm, second floor out of two floors, located on Bostonai, Old Katamon, was sold for NIS 1,020,000 (Re/Max Vision).
Tel Aviv:
A 4-room apartment, 93sqm with 12 sqm balcony, on the 4th floor, located on Tzefat, was sold for NIS 6,000,000. A 3-room apartment on Tekoa, 75 sqm with a balcony of 14 sqm, on the 2nd floor was sold for NIS 1,870,000 (Daon Group). A 4-room private house, 110 sqm, on Habossem Street, in the Kfar Shelem neighborhood, was sold for NIS 3,230,000 (Re/Max Ocean).
Netanya:
A 5-room duplex apartment, 187 sqm with a 48 sqm balcony, on the 14th and 15th floors of the Reserve Towers, located on Nathan Yonatan, was sold for NIS 9,375,000. (Maxine Marks).
Ma’ale Adumim:
A 3-room apartment, 75 sqm with a 25 sqm balcony, located on the third floor out of 3 floors on Mitzpeh Nevo Street, was sold for NIS 1,2500,000. A 4-room apartment, 100 sqm with a 25 sqm balcony, Avnei Hachoshen Street, was sold for NIS 1,530,000 (Re/Max Atid).
Ashdod:
A 4-room apartment, 124 sqm on the first floor out of seven floors, located on Hama’apilim Street, 2nd District, was sold for NIS 1,290,000. (Re/Max Together).
