July saw tourists flocking back to Israel in numbers that are reminiscent of pre-Covid days. While hotels, sites, and attractions were crowded with foreign visitors, real estate agents servicing international clients also noted significant activity among foreign buyers, many of who are back in Israel for the first time since before Covid. Buyitinisrael has heard repeatedly from tourists that while Israel’s borders were closed and getting here was an impossible feat, they came to recognize their deep attachment to the country which has prompted them to buy something in Israel.
The following is a selection of real estate deals that took place in July 2022 that involved English-speaking real estate agents in Israel. The idea is to give our readers a general idea of the residential real estate market, property prices, and activities taking place around the country that relate to Israel real estate*.
Jerusalem:
A 7-room garden apartment, 183 sqm with a 220 sqm garden, located on the first floor out of three floors on Aviad Street in Givat Mordechai, sold for NIS 5,450,000. A 3.5 room apartment, 74 sqm, located on the third and top floor on Alexander Robovitz Street in Armon Hanatziv was sold for 1,500,000 NIS. A 4-room garden apartment, 90 sqm with a 117 sqm garden, located on the ground floor out of four floors on Shlomo Argov Street in Arnona, sold for NIS 4,160,000. (Re/Max Vision).
Tel Aviv:
A 6-room penthouse, 155 sqm with a 65 sqm balcony, located on Prague Street in Old North Tel Aviv, was sold for NIS 12,250,000 NIS (Daon Group).
Netanya:
A 5-room apartment, 141 sqm with a 12 sqm balcony, located on the 9th out of 14 floors, on Uzi Hitman in Ir Yamim, was sold for 4,555,000 NIS (Home in Israel). A 5-room apartment, under construction in a new project in Ir Yamim, was sold for 4,620,000 NIS (Buyitinisrael)
Ramat Beit Shemesh
A 7-room private home, 220 sqm with a garden of 40 sqm, located in Mem Shalosh, RBS Alef, was sold for NIS 5,010,000. (Elite Israel Realty).
Ma’ale Adumim:
A 5-room garden apartment, 115 sqm on the ground floor out of two floors, located on Hanachalim Street, was sold for NIS 2,200,000. (Re/Max Atid).
Karnei Shomron
A 5.5-room duplex apartment, 123 sqm with a 16 sqm balcony, located on the second out of three floors, HaTof Street, was sold for NIS 1,590,000. (Nadlan Ariel).
