As Russia’s invasion of Ukraine intensifies, gas prices reach all-time record highs, and inflation increases the already exorbitantly high cost of living in Israel, home sales continue at a rapid rate and prices rise as local buyers and foreign investors fear being closed out of the market.
The following is a selection of real estate deals that took place in March 2022 that involved English-speaking real estate agents in Israel. The idea is to give our readers a general idea of the residential real estate market, property prices, and activities taking place around the country that relate to Israel real estate*.
Jerusalem:
A 5-room apartment, 150 sqm with two balconies totaling 80 sqm, located on the 7th and top floor on Derech Hebron, sold for NIS 6,100,000. A private plot of land, 1,600 sqm, with a private house of 189 sqm, and with building rights up to 240 sqm, located on Moshav Beit Zayit, was sold for NIS 7,450,000 (Re/Max Vision).
Tel Aviv:
A 4-room apartment, 93 sqm, with a 12 sqm balcony, located on the 4th floor on Tzefat Street, was sold for NIS 5,950,000 (Daon Group).
Modi’in:
A 4-room apartment under construction with 2 balconies totaling 22 sqm, located in the new Moreshet neighborhood, was sold for NIS 3,008,000. (Buyitinisrael Real Estate).
Bat Yam:
A 3-room apartment of 76 sqm, with a 9 sqm balcony, located on the 16th floor out of 43 floors in a Pinui Binui project in the Ramat Yosef neighborhood of Bat Yam, was sold for NIS 2,258,500. (Buyitinisrael Real Estate).
Netanya:
A 4-room apartment, 113 sqm, located on the fifth floor out of ten floors, on Ben Eliezer in the city center, was sold for NIS 1,730,000. A 5-room apartment, 138 sqm with a 14 sqm balcony, located on the fourth floor out of 14 floors, on Beni Berman in Ir Yamim, was sold for NIS 3,650,000. (Homeinisrael).
Ramat Beit Shemesh:
A 5-room penthouse, 139 sqm with a 30 sqm balcony, located on the ninth and top floor in Neve Shamir, RBS Hey, was sold for NIS 3,240,000. (Elite Israel Realty).
Ma’ale Adumim:
A 6.5-room apartment, 200 sqm with a large garden of 200 sqm, located on floors -3 and -4 on Mitzpeh Nevo Street, was sold for NIS 3,320,000. (Re/Max Atid).
Ashdod:
A 4-room apartment, 110 sqm on the third floor out of nine floors, located on Elisha HaNavi, 11thDistrict, was sold for NIS 2,145,000. (Re/Max Together).
Ariel
A 4-room garden apartment, 91 sqm with a 100 sqm garden, on the ground floor out of two floors, located on HaPisga Street, was sold for NIS 1,620,000. (Nadlan Ariel).
